In the home market, the new SUV will be available as a hybrid or electric car. A full presentation will be held at the end of December.
The brand itself revealed the AITO M9 three-row crossover back in the spring, then there were leaks from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and new branded pictures. The first public display of the model was held in November at the Guangzhou Motor Show. But the interior has only now been declassified: a video teaser has been published, and in addition, the date of the full presentation has been announced — December 26. Let us remember that initially the AITO (Adding Intelligence To Auto) brand was a joint project of the technology giant Huawei and the Seres company, but this year the brand was apparently bought by Huawei. However, let's return to the upcoming model.

Inside the AITO M9 there are three displays, and they are built into the front panel, like the latest Mercedes (by the way, the restyled crossover Exeed VX, which was just presented in Russia, received a similar solution). Under the central air deflectors there are two platforms for wireless charging of a smartphone. There is no usual gearbox selector — apparently, the steering column lever is responsible for controlling the transmission. Chinese specialized media also write that the M9 received a laser projector — it is attached to the roof above the second row of seats. But the purpose of the element sticking out from the front panel is still unclear. Of course, all electronics are from Huawei.

As for appearance, the main feature of the AITO M9 is the pixel sections under the headlights. The length of the new crossover is 5230 mm, width – 1999 mm, height – 1800 mm, wheelbase – 3110 mm.
According to preliminary data, AITO M9 will be offered as a rechargeable hybrid or electric car. The installation of the first version includes a 1.5 petrol turbo engine with a power of 152 hp. and a pair of electric motors (224 and 272 hp). The completely “green” crossover has two electric motors with a power of 218 and 313 hp. More details about the technology will appear in a week and a half.
The new product is expected to have a starting price tag of 500,000 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 6.27 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
Let us remind you that the AITO brand is also represented in Russia: sales are handled by MB Rus, that is, the former Russian representative office of Mercedes (it is now owned by the Avtodom company). It is possible that AITO M9 will subsequently reach the Russian Federation.
