MOSCOW, December 17 Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev expects that the volume of grain exports this agricultural year will be at least 65 million tons , but the figure will be clarified.
“The volume of grain harvest, together with new territories, today amounts to more than 153 million tons, but this is still in dirty weight,” Patrushev said on the sidelines of the United Russia congress.
“The figure will be updated “We’ll see at what rate they will export. But I hope that it will be no less than 65,” the minister told reporters, answering a question about what the volume of grain exports will be this agricultural year.
Grain export deliveries in the 2022-2023 agricultural year (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023) amounted to 60 million tons, of which about 47 million tons were wheat. Export potential in the current season 2023-2024 (from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024) is estimated at 65 million tons.
