MOSCOW, December 19 General Director of the Rossiya Segodnya media group Dmitry Kiselev believes that it is necessary to attract more public and business attention to India in order to turn to the east — along with China — was balanced.
“I believe that the pivot to the east that has taken place in our heads and in our hearts is too China-centric. This is very good, I am in no way against China, but we must see India. I believe that We still underestimate India, because the scale of this country is economic, historical, and emotional for us, it should be noticeable much more than our turn to the east, taking into account India it should be more balanced,” Kiselev said in during the XIV Indian-Russian business dialogue at the international multimedia press center of the Rossiya Segodnya media group.
He also said that he will try to attract public attention to India.
“For my part, I will take on such obligations, we will notice India more and show it in such a way that it will be interesting to ordinary people, and therefore to business too,” Kiselev emphasized.
According to him, a new structure of the world is now being built, in which Russia and India will occupy very serious positions.
