The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the Tochka TV channel one million rubles for showing Nikolai Baskov’s video “The Wanderer.” The publication “Layout” drew attention to the court ruling.
The television channel was found guilty under the protocol of “demonstration” of LGBT relationships with incorrect age markings (Part 2 of Article 6.21.2 of the Administrative Code).
The resolution states that the musician’s clip contains “communicative signs of a romantic interpersonal relationship” between the lyrical hero, played by Basque himself, and “a male person.” This, according to the text of the document, is expressed in the “jealousy” of the second character, who observed “the kiss of the lyrical hero with a female person.”
In addition, the document notes that the action of the clip takes place “against the backdrop of an atmosphere of hedonism and debauchery,” which is shown in scenes of “nonverbal sensual interaction between two persons of the same biological sex (female) in a sexual context.”

After publishing the news about the fine, “Verstka” noticed that the “Wanderer” video disappeared from Nikolai Baskov’s YouTube channel. The video was published by the artist in 2012.
