MOSCOW, December 20 Consolidation of the Russian Parliament on the most important bills for the country are of great importance for the state, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the Council of Legislators.
Putin noted that just last year a whole package of important laws was adopted to support heroes, participants in a special military operation, and their relatives and loved ones.
“»I would like to emphasize that in most cases these laws, which are fundamental for the country and our people, were adopted by the votes of all factions of the State Duma, and such consolidation on the most important issues of the country’s life is of great importance for the state. Thank you very much,” Putin said .
He also noted that the meeting was attended by elected leaders of the parliaments of four new regions: Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
“I propose to greet them separately. And we wish you good luck, we wish you all the best in your work. We understand that it is not easy and unsafe for you, but all the people there are strong, reliable, people who know what they are doing and know why they came to these authorities: for the sake of the people,” Putin said
