Actor Sergei Bazanov, who played Demid, a member of the criminal group «Universam» in the series «The Boy's Word», was arrested in connection with the murder of a businessman in 2011. This preventive measure was chosen by the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow on Monday.
Bazanov was charged under the article “Murder for mercenary motives as part of a group of persons.” He will remain in pre-trial detention until at least February 20, 2024.
According to investigators, Bazanov was part of a criminal group that was involved in robbery in Moscow. The murder of businessman Alexander Dzabiev occurred as a result of an attack on him in Bolshoy Poluyaroslavsky Lane. The criminals shot the businessman in the head and ran away with a bag containing 900 thousand US dollars.
