YEKATERINBURG, December 26 Doctors saved a two-year-old girl who almost froze to death in a snowdrift in the Sverdlovsk village of Krasnoyarka, the child survived two clinical deaths, reports the regional information policy department .
As the regional prosecutor's office previously reported, on November 23, a two-year-old girl was left by her parents in the care of her older sister. Parents went to work. While her older sister was sleeping, the girl went outside without putting on warm outer clothing. Subsequently, during the daytime, she was discovered by her father, who had returned for lunch, in a snowdrift near the house without signs of breathing or heartbeat. The child was hospitalized at a local hospital with hypothermia; he was in serious condition and on a ventilator, the regional Ministry of Health explained.
“»Little Stefania from the village of Krasnoyarka near Serov fell into a snowdrift not far from her house at the end of November. The baby spent several hours in the cold and almost died. But the Ural doctors did the impossible. The girl, who had twice experienced clinical death, was saved,» – the message says.
It is noted that paramedic Lyubov Trofimova and nurse Margarita Goreva of the Krasnoyarka paramedic and obstetric station were the first to be near the girl. While the ambulance was on its way to an emergency call from Serov, doctors began resuscitation measures and brought the child back to life.

«However, during the way to the hospital, the baby experienced another clinical death. Doctors began to help her right in the car and handed the patient over to resuscitators. Three days later, an air ambulance helicopter transported the child to Yekaterinburg, where he was treated and restored by specialists from Children’s City Clinical Hospital No. 9,” the department said.
Now the girl is at home, she has fully retained all her functions. Doctors are monitoring her condition on an outpatient basis, the department added.
