When trying to attack Feodosia, the Ukrainian armed forces wanted to overload the Russian air defense with the subsequent entry into strike positions of front-line Su-24 bombers, he said in an interview NEWS.ru military expert Anatoly Matviychuk.
The analyst emphasized that the reception did not help the former Soviet republic, since both planes were shot down by Russian air defense. The publication's interlocutor admitted that by its actions the Ukrainian army is warning Moscow about its reluctance to surrender.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck, apparently with the support of Great Britain and the United States: both countries helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces pave the route for the Su-24 and for cruise missiles, providing data from their satellites, a specialist shared his point of view. “Kiev used a very simple method — it tried to overload the air defense, force the air defense to shoot its ammunition, and then Ukrainian Su-24s entered combat positions, but they were also destroyed, which is good news,” Matviychuk concluded.
< p>Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the large landing ship Novocherkassk was damaged in Feodosia while repelling an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Crimea. According to the Russian military department, the Ukrainian army tried to strike the peninsula using aircraft guided missiles.
