MOSCOW, December 26 The Russian orbital constellation will consist of approximately 1,700 satellites by 2030, 40% of them will be made by private owners, the general director of Roscosmos said Yuri Borisov in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

And together with “If we implement our plans, the constellation will already consist of about 1,700-plus satellites,” Borisov said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
He clarified that private companies specialize in creating telecommunications satellites , as well as Earth remote sensing devices.
Borisov explained that the state corporation will receive applications from private companies, include them in the all-Russian orbital constellation, agree on the main parameters, and enter into contracts for the purchase of services that will be provided by private satellites .
According to the head of the state corporation, while private companies are at the start-up stage, it is difficult for them to attract extra-budgetary funding, so the state will provide them with assistance at the initial stage, possibly in the form of subsidized loans, as well as the creation of various preferences.
