< br />MOSCOW, December 26The Moscow City Court on Tuesday recognized as legal the 15-day administrative arrest of rapper Vacío (Nikolai Vasiliev) for appearing almost naked at the party of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, the court reported.
“The decision of the court of first instance was left unchanged, the defense’s complaint was not satisfied,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
On Friday, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow found Vasiliev guilty under Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code (“Petty hooliganism”) and sentenced him to administrative arrest for 15 days, as well as a fine of 200 thousand rubles under Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code (“Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations»).
The rapper himself recorded a video apologizing for participating in a scandalous party in Moscow and stated that he did not want to offend anyone, a video with his apology is available.
Vasiliev said that he “was invited to a party” where an “almost naked” dress code was proposed. “I came up with my own image and wanted to surprise the audience who was present at this closed event. And in the end I was involved in a video with party participants whom I absolutely do not know,” Vasiliev said.
As follows from the materials, the rapper participated in a “naked party” at the Mutabor nightclub.
«He violated public order, used crude obscene language and distributed publications on telegram channels aimed at promoting non-traditional sexual relationships,» the documents state.
The party at Mutabor was organized by blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. The event was attended by many Russian pop stars — following the dress code, they were half naked.
The party received scandalous publicity. The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, called her cynical — it is unethical to “hold such events at a time when our children are dying in the Northern Military District and many children are losing their fathers.”
State Duma Deputy Maria Butina, for her part, appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Culture with a request to conduct an inspection and give a legal assessment of the party. In her opinion, the event should be assessed «for compliance with the law banning LGBT* propaganda (banned in Russia as an extremist organization) and the presidential decree on strengthening traditional values.»
* The movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia.
