In the village of Grushevskoye, Stavropol Territory, four local residents were detained for dancing a lezginka near the memorial to those killed in the Civil and World War II. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
A case was opened against the young people for the desecration of symbols of military glory, committed by a group of people (Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code). According to the Investigative Committee, on December 27, the suspects came to the monument “Mass Grave of the Red Partisans,” turned on music and “danced a national dance.”
According to Astra, the detainees are between 17 and 20 years old. The Telegram channel, without indicating sources, writes that the reason for initiating a criminal case against the residents of Grushevsky was also that they threw out the husks of the seeds near the Eternal Flame.
