The Office of the Investigative Committee for the Chelyabinsk Region opened a criminal case for hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code) against a “group of foreign citizens” who insulted participants in the war in Ukraine and their wives. The press service of the department reports this.
In addition, the release states that the men, “while intoxicated,” hit one of the “discharged from the front line.” The conflict occurred in the courtyard of multi-storey buildings in the Sovetsky district of Chelyabinsk on the night of January 1.
Military correspondent Alexander Volozhanin was the first to report the fight between “National Military District members” and migrants on his Telegram channel. He claims that his “front-line comrade” with friends and their wives were waiting on the street for a taxi.
“There were five migrant children in the yard who were drunk and began to insult the woman. They poured gas on them and started a fight with the SVO members and insulted them. Then their elders arrived and began to attack the SVO participants. My brothers explained to them that the young migrants drank too much alcohol and began to behave aggressively since the veterans were 30 years old and sober, they decided to publicize the lawlessness of the migrants and punish them according to the law. They called the police, but they didn’t come,” writes Volozhanin (the author’s punctuation has been preserved).
The Telegram channel “Migrants — everything as it is” published a video of the conflict. It shows a group of men walking briskly towards other people on the street. One of the attackers has in his hands an oblong object that looks like a baton, with which he hits a man off-screen with the words “What, bitch?”
After this, the man calls his opponents “fucking chushpans”, “garbage whores” and says that he “fucked them in the mouth”, while showing offensive gestures. A man from the defending group then encouraged the attacker to “drop the stick” and engage in a one-on-one fist fight. The brawl flared up with renewed vigor, and one of its participants used pepper spray.
It is unknown how the conflict ended. His background is reported only from the words of people from a group of veterans of the war in Ukraine and their wives.
