MOSCOW, December 31 Over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems shot down 31 Ukrainian drones and 14 HIMARS and Alder MLRS shells , the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Sunday in the department’s telegram channel.
““Air defense systems intercepted 14 rockets from the HIMARS and Alder multiple launch rocket systems within 24 hours. 31 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in populated areas Spornoe, Volnovakha, Volodino of the Donetsk People's Republic, Stklmakhovka, Verkhnekamenka, Golikovo, Nyrkovo of the Lugansk People's Republic, Vasilyevka of the Kherson region and Ulyanovka of the Zaporozhye region,» the message says.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, 564 Ukrainian military aircraft, 263 helicopters, 10,272 unmanned aerial vehicles, 445 anti-aircraft missile systems, 14,412 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,194 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 7,578 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 16,905 units of special military vehicles.
