MOSCOW, December 30 The Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot jam Russian missiles with the GLONASS system, since they do not have electronic warfare systems capable of this, said retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov on the YouTube channel “Yes, it is.”
“
"There is NATO GPS, and there is Russian GLONASS, and its signal can be suppressed with the help of electronic warfare, but we, unfortunately, do not have such strategic systems,” says the military man.
He also pointed out that the Russian military can find targets for missiles strikes in Ukraine with the help of a very developed network of satellites in earth orbit.
In addition, Starikov noted the shortage of air defense shells, which Russian forces are aware of and thanks to this they “knock out” these systems.
Earlier The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in a week 50 group and one massive strikes were carried out on the territory of Ukraine with precision weapons and drones. The targets were military-industrial complex facilities, military airfields, arsenals, and military locations. All designated objects were hit, the department specified.
