MOSCOW, January 6 Explosions occurred in Dnepropetrovsk (renamed by the Kiev authorities in Dnepr) in Ukraine, a fire broke out in the city, the Ukrainian publication «Strana.ua» reported.

On Friday, the RBC-Ukraine agency reported explosions in the city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
On the afternoon of December 30, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Belgorod. According to the Ministry of Defense, they used Alder missiles with a cassette part and the Czech Vampire MLRS. Air defense systems intercepted most of the shells, but several ammunition and cluster units hit the city. The attack killed 25 people, including five children, and more than a hundred people were injured.
President Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, noting that it was a targeted attack on the civilian population that will not go unpunished. In response to the aggression of the Ukrainian army against the civilian population, Russian troops launched massive retaliatory strikes against decision-making centers and military installations in Ukraine.
