The Traktorozavodsky District Court of Chelyabinsk arrested a 16-year-old resident of Dagestan, who was accused of attempted sabotage (part 3 of article 30, paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 281 of the Criminal Code). A 74.ru correspondent reports this from the court.
FSB officers detained the young man on January 5. He is from Buinaksk, studies and lives with his parents. The investigation believes that the young man tried to set fire to an SU bomber at the Shagol military airfield in Chelyabinsk. The security forces managed to extinguish the plane.
The FSB Public Relations Center previously reported the detention of a resident of Dagestan. The intelligence service claims that the young man acted in the interests of Ukraine; he was recruited on social networks. The FSB considers him involved not only in the attempt to set fire to the bomber, but also in the arson attacks on the railway in Dagestan in November and December 2023.
