MOSCOW, January 6 Rosatom has fulfilled the plan for cargo transportation on the Northern Sea Route in the amount of 36 million tons in 2023, said the general director of the state corporation Alexey Likhachev in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
«I am very grateful to our partners — Gazpromneft, Lukoil, Norilsk Nickel, who found an opportunity to leave the western direction. This allowed us, firstly, to before the New Year, achieve the target figure of 36 million tons and, secondly, increase international transit to a record volume of significantly more than 2 million tons,” Likhachev said.
