MOSCOW, January 6. Russia responded harshly to US attempts to come to an agreement on the Ukrainian issue, ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson said on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
“
"They (the United States. — Ed.) trying to figure out how to force Russia to start negotiations. They still think there is some way to do it. But the Russians reject their proposals and say: “We have nothing to communicate with you about. It’s all over, there will be no negotiations until you leave Ukraine and stop threatening our borders,” the expert emphasized.
Johnson also recalled that the West has invested billions of dollars in its Kiev project, but this is not helped inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
Western media are increasingly writing that Washington and Brussels have begun to tire of the Ukrainian conflict, and support for the Zelensky regime is weakening. According to NBC, American and European officials are already discussing with Kiev the possible consequences of peace talks with Russia, including the broad outlines of what Ukraine may have to give up to reach an agreement.
