“Teach a lesson”. Zelensky addressed the EU with a bold request for Russia

MOSCOW, January 7. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky asked Europe to “teach a lesson” to Russia for conducting a special operation. He is quoted by RBC-Ukraine.
““To teach them a lesson that aggression cannot lead to good, solidarity is needed,” he said.
According to Zelensky, for success on the battlefield, the European Union needs to form a single weapons industry. He is convinced that this will militarily “secure” the continent from Russia.

Moscow launched a special operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to abuse and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.” He noted that the special operation was a forced measure, Moscow “was left no chance to do otherwise, security risks were created such that it was impossible to respond by other means.”

According to him, Russia has been trying to come to an agreement with NATO for 30 years about the principles of security in Europe, but in response she was faced with either cynical deception and lies, or attempts at pressure and blackmail, while the alliance, meanwhile, despite Moscow’s protests, is steadily expanding.
