SK: deputy head of Barnaul detained for a bribe of two million rubles
The Telegram channel of the RF IC reported that law enforcement officers detained the deputy head of Barnaul for roads and transport for a bribe of two million rubles.
< p>“A criminal case was opened against the Deputy Head of the Barnaul Administration for Roads and Transport under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the department noted.
According to the investigation, in 2020, through an intermediary, the suspect received a bribe of two million rubles from a local businessman providing passenger transportation services.
To be confirmed that this amount was intended for general patronage and the opportunity to freely carry out passenger transportation on selected routes, despite the fact that the entrepreneur did not have the appropriate buses.
Currently, the deputy head of the administration has been detained, police are conducting searches at his place of work and residence.
