ANADYR, January 10 Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to distribute additional material payments after the birth of a third child in Chukotka and other regions of the Russian Federation with low birth rates .
“In my opinion, this can be done taking into account the state of public finances. But in the full case, it seems to me, then this measure needs to be extended not only to Chukotka, but also to other regions of the Far East, in which the birth rate is still lower than in the regions as a whole… Therefore, we will assume that we have agreed. I will give the corresponding government instructions to the regional authorities, my colleagues will work everything out, and it will be adopted at the next joint meeting,» Putin said at a meeting with residents of Anadyr.
According to him, at the birth of a third child in the Russian Federation, there is a rule according to which the family receives 450 thousand rubles in addition to a preferential mortgage to repay the mortgage loan. In the Primorsky Territory, these families are paid an additional 550 thousand rubles. In total they receive a million to repay the loan.
«Primorsky Territory, as far as I understand, does this from its own budget. But Chukotka has less income than in Primorsky Territory, (therefore — ed.), of course, this issue can be resolved here thus problematic. Therefore, for a region like Chukotka, there must be federal support,» Putin emphasized.
