Then — a special school for legal intelligence, called a university or intelligence academy. Then he defended his dissertation. He worked “in civilian life” in economics — a candidate of economic sciences,» Putin said during a conversation with residents of Anadyr.
He also recalled under what circumstances he received the qualification of a fourth-class carpenter, which he spoke about earlier. “I received this fourth rank (carpentry) in the student detachment when I worked in the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Everything was simple there — in order to pay us a certain amount of money, at that time it was decent, they earned about a thousand rubles… In order to receive them, you had to have a rank. They were assigned the appropriate rank. I can’t say that I received such a serious qualification, but formally I had such a rank,” Putin said.
