The Nerchinsko-Zavodskoy District Court of the Trans-Baikal Territory received a case against five local residents accused of beating Mikhail Taskin, a Wagner PMC mercenary recruited from the colony. OVD-Info drew attention to the information in the court database.
Vladislav Alexandrov, Evgeniy Golyatin, Ivan Zyryanov and Sergei Piskarev are accused of “discrediting” the army, resulting in harm to health and property (part 2 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code), and Anastasia Chertkova is accused of inciting these actions (the same article using part 5 of the article 33 of the Criminal Code).
In addition, Denisov, Zyryanov, Piskarev are accused of intentionally causing minor harm to health based on political hatred (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code) and intentional damage to property (Part 1 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code) , Chertkova and Golyatina — inciting a fight.
Mikhail Taskin, recruited into the Wagner PMC, received nine years in 2020 for attempting to shoot three people over a dispute over a parking space. The pardoned Taskin returned from Ukraine without a leg. In August 2023, he came to a local cafe “covered in medals,” began throwing a crutch at the waitresses and, as eyewitnesses recalled, “ordered them to bring it back to him, and then threw it again.”

According to the Investigative Committee, on August 5, 2023, Taskin and his friends left for a neighboring village, “wanting to avoid the conflict” that occurred on the square in the village of Nerchinsky Factory.
The participants in the fight, “with the complicity of Chertkova, began to pursue them in two cars,” blocked their road, rammed the car of the “SVO participants,” broke the windows and punctured the tires.
“The defendants beat one of the victims and tore off the awards for participation in the SVO from their chests. At the same time, Golyatin forcibly restrained the second man, who wanted to help his friend and protect him during the beating,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
Taskina’s sister assured that her brother was beaten by opponents of the war. This version was supported by Governor Alexander Osipov. State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein demanded the dismissal of the security forces, who initially did not notice the “discredit” of the army in the fight.
According to Taskina, the attackers tore off her brother’s awards, insulted the Russian military and called them murderers. When the Taskins left the cafe, “the attackers caught up with them in a car and began beating them in a crowd,” the mercenary’s sister claimed.
At the same time, as Regnum wrote, the person involved in the case, Ivan Zyryanov, together with his brother Alexei, organized patriotic events in the area. Alexey explained the conflict by saying that Taskin saw a man in the square whom he shot in 2019, and began to threaten him and those around him: “I ***. I’ll give you all cancer!”
