The Babushkinsky District Court of Moscow fined journalist Alexander Plyushchev 45 thousand rubles in an administrative case. This was reported by the joint press service of the capital's courts.
Plyushchev was found guilty of distributing materials without the marking of a “foreign agent” (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code). According to the administrative case card, judge Elena Mamaeva reviewed the protocol today.
The Ministry of Justice added Alexander Plyushchev to the register of “foreign agents” in October 2022. According to the department, the presenter received funding from Ukraine and Germany.
The journalist was first fined under the law on “foreign agents” in June of this year — he was ordered to pay 30 thousand rubles. The claims of Roskomnadzor were caused by the video “TF. Who is Valery Solovey? Media manipulation, Friends at the top, Denunciations, Eroticism of Cuba”, which does not include the “foreign agent” tag (part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code).
In November, Plyushchev was fined 40 thousand rubles due to failure to provide a report “ foreign agent» (Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code).
