Tomorrow, January 13, Kolesa.ru will accept participation in a competition of journalists and bloggers. The elimination race will take place in the city of Yuryev-Polsky, where media representatives and famous bloggers will compete in head-to-head confrontation. Deputy editor-in-chief Mikhail Balandin will fight for victory and traditionally colorfully talk about his impressions of us. Well, everyone who wants to see the race with their own eyes can attend it as spectators — they will have access to a food court, hot drinks and the opportunity to personally shake hands with the participants and organizers.
Automotive journalists, bloggers and reviewers are regularly invited to tests and events in a variety of formats. But no one has ever done a real sports car race for us. Therefore, tomorrow’s event is unique in its own way. Our long-time partners and friends from the Non-Profit Partnership “Interregional Association of Rally Raid Athletes”, teaming up with the PRO GROUP company and blogger Marat “Borod” Koliev, decided to challenge opinion leaders, those who tell the whole country about cars, to find out if they know how to drive Are these the same machines for real or is it all just an act for the camera?
Our publication accepted the challenge, especially since deputy editor-in-chief Mikhail Balandin had been wanting to get behind the wheel of a sports car for many years and even filmed several stories about rally-raid cars. But it never came to a full-fledged race — the time has come to fix this. The race will begin on January 13 at 10 a.m.

Participants will compete among themselves in four cars, which are provided and serviced during the event by Alexander Kozharin, a famous pilot, organizer, master of sports in motor sports and founder of the MAD RACING TEAM, which builds sports cars and maintains them.
The cars for the race are professional cars prepared with the support of event partner brands. Features of the preparation of cars, in addition to safety cages, properly organized electrics, lightening the car (and making it heavier with the frame), buckets and seat belts, tires with serious spikes, as well as the condo color of one car — these are ball joints, reaction rods and steering linkage rods of a special sports series TRS, which is produced here in Russia, in Chelyabinsk JSC PO TRACK. In addition, these are candles from the company METEOR AUTO, a production leader that has adopted the legendary BOSCH quality. And oils from the brand SINTEC, suitable for work in harsh sports operating conditions — SINTEC PREMIUM 9000 5W50.
The race will be doubles. A lot of races are planned and with strict timing — for the prompt evacuation of cars and for the comfort of judging, the Arctic Truck Russia company provides the organizers with a TANK 300 AT35 car on Nankang WA-1 LT315/70R17 tires and with a winch. This is a seriously prepared car in which you can go to the Arctic and beyond — we talked about it in the news, and now we’ll try it out on a snowy track between races.
