The next generation all-terrain vehicle has been radically transformed both outside and inside. According to preliminary data, in our market such an SUV will be available with a more powerful gasoline engine and a new diesel engine.
In China, the Haval H9 frame SUV debuted in 2014, and five years later it was registered at the Tula Haweila plant. At home, the model has gone through several restylings, the last one was carried out there in 2021 (the Russian version was updated under a separate program). And now the second generation all-terrain vehicle is approaching: branded images of the vehicle without camouflage have been published, in addition, the “heavenly” media have apparently circulated certification photographs of the new H9. It is curious that even before the official announcement, a photo of the presentation slide of the “nine”, which was shown to Russian dealers, appeared on the Internet. So there will definitely be a “second” Haval H9 in the Russian Federation.

The exterior of the new SUV is designed in the style of the brand’s brutal crossovers: in particular, the frame SUV looks like an enlarged copy of the Haval Raptor (aka Menglong). The design features of the H9 are round diode headlights placed in square frames, a radiator grille with massive horizontal dies and a large brand name, bifurcated taillights located in black vertical blocks. Judging by the slide, the dimensions of the all-terrain vehicle intended for the Russian Federation will remain almost unchanged: the length of the new product is 4859 mm, width – 1934 mm, height – 1853 mm.
Haweil himself has not yet released pictures of the interior, but the interior was shown at a presentation for dealers. Inside, the H9 also imitates the Haval Raptor, there are separate screens for the instrument panel and multimedia system, vertical air deflectors on the sides and a two-story central tunnel. In Russia, the all-terrain vehicle will be exclusively seven-seater; our version is also promised off-road cruise control with a system for selecting driving modes, driver assistance assistants and a “winter” package.

For the Russian new Haval H9, a 2.0 petrol turbo engine with a power of 224 hp is announced. and a 2.4 turbodiesel producing 184 hp. The first engine is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the second has a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV has all-wheel drive with a reduction gear and two locks. Note that SUVs for China may have a different engine range. Well, our previous H9 is equipped with a 218-horsepower 2.0 petrol turbo engine and a two-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 190 hp, both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

It is expected that in Russia sales of the second generation Haval H9 will start in August, the estimated price is approximately 4.29 million rubles (the previous all-terrain vehicle in the Russian Federation now costs from 4,099,000 rubles). In China, the new SUV will probably be presented earlier.
