Hašek warned Russian hockey players about the consequences of saving joint photos with Putin

The formerly famous Czech hockey goalkeeper Domenik Hasek again allowed himself a critical statement about Russian hockey players. He called on them to stop taking photographs together, and those who had already been photographed – from posting photos with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Be careful, everyone who still has photos with Putin on social networks. This seems to indicate that he probably supports him,” said the Olympic hockey champion in an interview with the YouTube channel Bold Talk.

active in politics for years, he repeatedly reproached Alexander Ovechkin for supporting the Russian president, in particular for his willingness to lead the Putin Team movement.

Hašek again spoke impartially about the NHL. He previously criticized the league for its position towards Russian athletes after the start of the SVO. According to the Czech, by allowing Russians to play, the NHL gives them the opportunity to advertise their country's actions. Hasek even proposed to the league management to buy out all the contracts of Russian athletes, but did not meet with understanding.

Hašek himself, let me remind you, played in Russia in the KHL. In the 2010-2011 season he played for Spartak Moscow.
