The Oktyabrsky District Court of Izhevsk sentenced the 52-year-old director of the private security company “Shield” in the case of a shooting at a local school, which occurred on September 26, 2022. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of Udmurtia.
Zlobin was given a three-year suspended sentence with a probationary period of three years on charges of providing services that do not meet security requirements and illegal circulation of payment funds (part 1 of articles 238 and 187 of the Criminal Code). In court, he did not admit guilt under the first article.
The court concluded that Zlobin did not ensure proper access control at the entrance to school No. 88, which endangered the safety of students and staff of the educational institution, and also falsified orders for money transfers twice. The press release does not specify what these transfers were. Interfax writes that in 2021, Zlobin provided the bank with fictitious payment orders, after which 500 thousand rubles were transferred to the account of his security company.

Before the verdict, the director of the private security company, who was detained two days after the shooting, was under house arrest, then the preventive measure was changed to a ban on certain actions.
As a result of the shooting at Izhevsk school No. 88, 18 people died, including 11 children. 23 people were injured. The attacker turned out to be 34-year-old Artem Kazantsev, who graduated from the same educational institution. He committed suicide on the spot. The shooter came to school with a swastika on his chest and clips with “hate” written on them.
