One of the drivers of the marketplace, whose warehouses caught fire on the morning of January 13 in St. Petersburg, refused to evacuate people by bus and simply turned around and drove away from the scene of the emergency. One of the company's employees spoke about this on social networks.
The man said that he came to work at the warehouse, but a fire had just started there and panic ensued. However, not all of the colleagues showed their best side at that moment.
One of the delivery drivers, being on the bus, simply turned around and drove away, not caring about the people who were knocking on the doors. At the same time, according to the man, there were still half of the empty seats on the bus.
It was reported that at least 1,000 people were in the warehouse in Shushary at the time of the fire, they were evacuated.
