Reinforced concrete structures began to be installed in the center of Belgorod , which will serve as shelters in the event of repeated shelling by the Ukrainian military.
As eyewitnesses report on social networks, this is actually a rectangular concrete box with an entrance, on which the inscription “Shelter” is painted in red paint. An additional concrete barrier is installed inside the box, which should protect against fragments. The photographs that have appeared show that lighting is being installed in the shelters.
The day before, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that the regional authorities, together with the regional department of the Russian National Guard, tested modular reinforced concrete structures with double reinforcement.
In addition, Gladkov also spoke about the removal of children from the Belgorod region. In particular, he thanked the governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko for “truly fatherly care for children.”
