The first certificates were presented to Putin's confidants in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, January 12 First certificates to authorized representatives of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin were presented on Friday at the regional election headquarters in St. Petersburg, the headquarters reported.
As part of the regular meeting of the headquarters, Elena Tikhomirova, the head of the organization “Residents of Siege Leningrad”, Mikhail Rakhlin, the head of the St. Petersburg Judo Federation, and Vasily Volobuev, the chairman of the city Council of Veterans, received their documents.

All of Putin's confidants called it a great honor to receive this status, which also implies high responsibility.

“When we meet at competitions, we communicate a lot with representatives of the countries of the former USSR, the CIS, and other international teams. And everyone at our simple everyday level says that they are proud of the kind of president we have. It’s so simple idea. And sports people can be the ones who will move it,” Rakhlin noted.
According to Tikhomirova, one of the main tasks of the authorized representative of the presidential candidate of the Russian Federation is communication with voters.

“We need to teach young people to distinguish truth from half-truths. And, of course, it is important that as many people as possible come to the polls and not just sit at home. We will meet, explain to people the policies that are being pursued now, and respond to questions,” she said.

Volobuev noted that the older generation today is an example for young people and emphasized the importance of preserving the connection between generations and historical memory.
“As for the work of proxies, I, as co-chairman of the regional headquarters, will be comfortable speaking in front of any audience, given the achievements that Russia has received in recent years. We will have something to say,” he admitted.
The regional election headquarters of the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin began work in St. Petersburg on December 22, 2023. The collection of signatures in support of Putin's candidacy started on December 23.
