DONETSK, January 13 Ukrainian troops at 14.00 on Saturday fired at Makeyevka from an MLRS, firing one missile, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination reported on the Telegram channel issues related to war crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
«Shelling was recorded from the AFU in the direction: 14.00 — the settlement of Novoselovka Pervaya — the settlement of Makeevka (Gornyatsky district): one rocket was fired from the MLRS,» the message says.
The type of MLRS and the consequences of the shelling have not yet been reported.
Makeevka is a satellite city of Donetsk, adjacent to it from the northeast. In 2014, the population of Makeyevka numbered about 350 thousand people.
