The Tagansky District Court of Moscow sentenced Igor Bartsits, former director of the Institute of Civil Service and Management (IGSU) of RANEPA, to five years of probation in the case of embezzlement on an especially large scale (part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the capital's courts.
His colleagues — former head of the department of anti-crisis management of socio-economic systems Galina Ivleva and ex-dean of the faculty of public economic management Svetlana Larina — were sentenced to four years probation in the same case. In addition, Bartsitsa, Ivleva and Larina were each fined one million rubles.
The press service of the court also told RBC that more than 53 million rubles were recovered from all three as part of a civil claim filed by RANEPA.
At the end of 2020, the FSB reported on the detention of teachers. According to the security forces, they systematically received money from their subordinates “for the unjustified calculation of additional wages.” Then a criminal case was opened against them for fraud (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code).
Another person involved in the case — former RANEPA employee Aslan Feizba — hid from the security forces and is wanted.
