“»The discussion was generally about bilateral relations, about the situation on the Korean Peninsula, an exchange of views on the most pressing international affairs. But the main emphasis is precisely on the development of bilateral relations,” the Kremlin representative specified.
He emphasized that Pyongyang is an important partner, Moscow is aimed at developing relations in all areas, “including sensitive ones.”
Putin received Choi Song Hee in the Kremlin the day before.
In September, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, at the head of a large representative delegation, visited Russia on an official visit. He visited the Vostochny Cosmodrome, visited several cities in the Far East, and held negotiations with Vladimir Putin.
