Avito Special Equipment experts analyzed data on the supply of freight transport on the platform for 2023 year. The ratings of the most common brands and models of used trucks predominantly include domestically produced equipment, and vehicles from China continue to gain popularity in the new truck market.
According to the results of the study, over the year the demand for used trucks increased by 13%, and for new trucks by 340%. The supply also changed: for used cars it increased by 19%, and for new ones – by 480%. The most popular brand of used trucks remained KAMAZ with a share of total demand of 32%, and the most popular among new products was the Chinese brand Shacman (Shaanxi) with a share of 17%. The average cost of a used truck on Avito Special Equipment in 2023 was 1,950,000 rubles. On average, a new truck could be purchased for 9,650,000 rubles.
Such a significant jump in interest in trucks (an increase of more than 300% of demand over the year) is due to the appearance on the market of new Chinese-made equipment. In the top demand, in addition to the stable leader KAMAZ, we see newcomers in the form of the brands Howo, SITRAK and FAW. Shacman alone offers a line of more than 10,000 types of trucks to suit every need. Among the brands of new trucks, Shacman (Shaanxi) became the leader with a supply share of 37% and an average cost of 9,560,000 rubles.
Also in the top 5 most common brands of new trucks were (in descending order of supply share): KAMAZ, as well as the Chinese brands Howo, SITRAK and FAW.
The most common brand of used truck in 2023 became KAMAZ. The brand accounted for 24.6% of the total supply of used trucks on Avito Special Equipment for 2023. The average price of used trucks from a domestic manufacturer was 2,050,000 rubles.

The third place in the ranking is occupied by KAMAZ 43118. The model’s share in the supply structure of new trucks was 4%, the average cost — 12,468,000 rubles.
In fourth position is KAMAZ 65115 with a supply share of 2% and an average cost of 10,600,000 rubles.
