MOSCOW, January 21 Russian modernized T-80BVM tanks have proven their superiority over the German Leopard 2 in special operation zone in Ukraine, writes the Chinese publication Sohu.
“The Russian T-80BVM earned itself military glory. Finding itself next to it, the German Leopard clearly felt out of place! After all, it reportedly cannot be adapted to difficult military conditions,” the article noted.
An important advantage of the T-80BVM tank over the Leopard 2 was the presence of a powerful gas turbine engine, which provides excellent maneuverability, the material says. Thanks to this power plant, he not only easily controls the situation on the battlefield, but also calmly adapts to new situations, the publication emphasized.
«Leopard 2» is much worse in this regard: it, for example, gets stuck in mud. The firepower of the Russian vehicle also makes a deep impression,” the article emphasized.
