Plane crash site in the mountains of Afghanistan (unofficial information)
The plane that crashed in Afghanistan, according to REN TV, was controlled by 41-year-old Dmitry Belyakov and 42-year-old Arkady Grachev. The other two crew members — Igor Syvorotkin and Pavel Popov — were, according to preliminary data, doctors.
Both pilots “had private pilot certificates issued by the North-Western Territorial Directorate of the Federal Air Transport Agency.” It is noted that they had minimal experience flying on the Falcon-10, since “training on it took place only in 2023.”
The plane was performing a charter ambulance flight on the route Gaya (India) — Tashkent (Uzbekistan) — Zhukovsky (Moscow, Russia). Previously, there were 6 people on board, including two citizens of the Russian Federation.
