A bloodied man with a knife attacked a school in the village of Amazar, Mogochinsky district of Transbaikalia. Before that, he cut a woman and a child.
According to the Shot Delegram channel, the incident occurred the day before in the morning, January 24. An unknown man burst into the territory of one of the private houses. He attacked a ten-year-old boy and tried to strangle him, and also stabbed him several times in the leg. The 32-year-old mother rushed to defend her son, and the man stabbed her three times in the chest. Despite the injuries, she was able to wrestle her son away from the attacker and run away with him to the neighbors.
After that, the man ran to a local school, where he was detained by police officers. The attacker turned out to be a 37-year-old local resident. It is clarified that he was previously prosecuted for theft and robbery.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened against him under the article “Attempted Murder”. He faces up to ten years in prison.
