MOSCOW, January 23. German musician, producer and founder of the group Boney M Frank Farian died in his apartment in Miami at the age of 82, writes The Sun.
The cause of his death was not named, but the publication clarified that in 2022 Farian had surgery heart surgery, and also had a heart valve installed.
The musician is known for his hits Rasputin and Daddy Cool. Farian, in addition to the group Boney M, also founded other pop projects, including Eruption, Precious Wilson and Milli Vanilli. His recordings have sold over 800 million copies.
