On the 2nd, the Western District Military Court, at an off-site hearing in St. Petersburg, sentenced Daria Trepova to 27 years in a general regime colony and a fine of 600 thousand rubles in the case of the murder of Z-blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. Trepova’s sentence is the most severe punishment for a woman in Russia, which is publicly known. Previously, only a sentence of 25 years in prison was reported, which was received in 2023 by Inessa and Victoria Tarverdiev from the “Amazon gang.”
The state prosecution asked Trepova to be sentenced to a total of 28 years in a general regime colony and a fine of 800 thousand rubles. The girl was found guilty of committing a terrorist attack by a group of persons resulting in the death of a person (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code), illegal trafficking in explosive devices (Part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code) and forgery of documents (Part 4 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code).
Dmitry Kasintsev, to whom Trepova came home after the explosion, was sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in a general regime colony.

A pro-government blogger and military man from the self-proclaimed DPR, Tatarsky died on April 2, 2023 due to the explosion of a figurine given to him by Trepova during his meeting with subscribers. At court hearings, the girl said that she did not know about the explosives, and thought that a wiretapping device was hidden in the gift.
The FSB named Tatar Ukrainian Yuri Denisov as the organizer of the murder. According to security officials, he came to Russia and sent Trepova an explosive device. The Investigative Committee also spoke about the involvement of journalist Roman Popkov living in Kyiv in the preparation of the terrorist attack. Popkov himself denied this.

After the explosion in the cafe, Trepova did not tell her husband about what happened, but asked her to find a place where she could hide. Rylov then turned to his former classmate Dmitry Kasintsev. He allowed the girl to stay in his apartment overnight. As a result, the young man also became a defendant in a criminal case. He was charged with concealing a particularly serious crime “by misleading law enforcement agencies” (Part 2 of Article 316 of the Criminal Code).
