UFA, January 26 Five hungry cats, looking for food, turned on an induction stove and started a fire in an apartment in Ufa, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports on the Telegram channel.
According to the department, in Ufa, residents of a high-rise building reported to 112 about a strong burning smell in the entrance. Firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations had to open the door to the apartment, from which acrid smoke was coming out.
«Dishes with food were burning on the stove. There were only five cats in the house. It turned out that hungry pets, in search of food, turned on the induction panel with soft paws. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated 4 people from the entrance and put out the fire,» the message says.
