MOSCOW, January 26. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have the means to combat Russian tactics of using drones, retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov said on his video blog.
«»They have not yet learned how to counteract these tactics. Thus, low air has become capable of high-precision fire destruction , difficult to intercept and controlled remotely using miniature infrastructure, which is difficult to hit,” complained Starikov.
He noted that to counter Russian UAVs it is necessary to provide each unit with a sufficient number of electronic warfare and other anti-aircraft weapons.
Russia maintains air superiority in the Northeast Military District zone. In particular, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in early June when he spoke about Kyiv’s readiness to launch a counter-offensive. It started on June 4 in the Zaporozhye, Yuzhnodonets and Artemovsk directions, but, as Vladimir Putin noted, attempts to advance Ukrainian troops failed.
