28-year-old champion Russian boxer Andrei Stotsky was shot by unknown assailants in Chelyabinsk, writes the Ural Mash telegram channel.
According to the channel, the day before the athlete had an argument with the company and took out a knife. In response, they shot him with a trauma weapon. The wounded Stotsky called his mother, who came and took him to the hospital.
Now Stotsky is in the ninth city hospital and is allegedly confused in his testimony. Investigators are looking into the case and are looking for the shooter.
Stotsky became the Russian boxing champion in the up to 92 kg category in 2021. In 2022 he won a bronze medal in the category up to 92 kg of the All-Russian Spartakiad.
