YEKATERINBURG, January 27 Five people were hospitalized as a result of a collision between three cars on the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health reports.
According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk Region, on Saturday, at the 71st kilometer of the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway, the driver of a Daewoo Nubira, while overtaking, collided with an oncoming Lada Largus car, which was thrown onto an Infiniti car moving behind, after which he drove into a ditch.
«After an initial examination, five adult victims were sent to the Bogdanovichi Central District Hospital. At the moment, three patients are in the intensive care unit with severe injuries. One victim was hospitalized in the surgical department in a moderate condition. Another participant in the accident is currently undergoing surgery doctors,” the message says.
