Lukashenko called on Ukraine and the Baltic countries to work with Russia and Belarus instead of the West
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, said that Ukraine and the Baltic countries should return to interaction with Moscow and Minsk, as in previous decades.
“No, I don’t want to — they are looking for a better life beyond the seas,” said Lukashenko.
At the same time, he expressed the opinion that Ukraine will return to the ranks of friendly post-Soviet countries: “There is nowhere to go.”
During the meeting with Putin, Lukashenko also thanked him for the invitation to come to the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the siege.
