A public election observation headquarters has been created in Moscow

MOSCOW, January 30 Public monitoring headquarters for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation was created in Moscow, it was headed by Vadim Kovalev, this decision was made on Tuesday at a meeting of the Public Chamber of Moscow.
«It is proposed to make a decision on the creation of a public headquarters for monitoring the presidential elections of the Russian Federation in the city of Moscow in 2024… Vadim Kovalev is proposed for the post of head of the public headquarters for monitoring the presidential elections in Moscow and the corps of observers of the Public Chamber of the city of Moscow Yuryevich,” said the chairman of the Moscow Public Chamber, Konstantin Remchukov.
This decision was supported unanimously. His deputies were Ilya Massukh and Alexander Asafov.

The election observation headquarters traditionally included an analysis group, a mobile response group, an electronic headquarters, a video center, a contact center and a corps of observers.

The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.

Currently, 11 people are vying for the post of head of state. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has registered four presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
The Central Election Commission must make a decision on registration or refusal of registration in relation to all candidates no later than February 10.
