MOSCOW, February 1 The fire in the building of the Central Department Store (TSUM) in Buinaksk, Dagestan, has been extinguished, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
On Thursday in Buinaksk, the roof of a two-story building of the Central Department Store caught fire. Rescuers evacuated 27 people from the fire site. At 11.15 the fire was localized to an area of 2 thousand square meters, and at 12.00 the open burning was extinguished. As Sabir Makhmudov, deputy head of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the republic, later noted, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire in the building of the Central Department Store.
«At 20.35 the fire in the store building in Buinaksk was completely extinguished,» the agency's interlocutor said.
