MOSCOW, February 1 Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. announced leaving the Ferrari Formula 1 team at the end of 2024.
It was announced on Thursday that seven-time Formula 1 champion Briton Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will join Ferrari from 2025.
«»In light of today's news, Ferrari and I will be parting ways at the end of 2024. We still have a long season ahead of us and I will do everything possible for the team and its fans around the world. News about my future will be announced in due course time,” Sainz wrote on the social network X.
It was previously reported that a move to Sauber, which will come under the management of Audi, as well as Mercedes, is being considered as options for continuing Sainz’s career.
