A court in Moscow arrested a Ukrainian hacker in absentia

MOSCOW, February 2 The Meshchansky Court of Moscow issued a warrant in absentia for the arrest of Ukrainian hacker Roman Orlenko, the court reported.
«By a court decision, Orlenko Roman Olegovich was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of up to two months. The period of detention began from the moment of his transfer to the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation in the event of extradition or deportation to the territory of the Russian Federation, or from the moment of detention on territory of the Russian Federation,» the court said.
They added that he is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (creation, use and distribution of malicious computer programs). Orlenko has been put on the international wanted list.
