MOSCOW, February 2 Peace negotiations with the Ukrainian side are possible only on Moscow’s terms, but these should be negotiations, not ultimatums “from overseas,” Vladimir Saldo, governor of the Kherson region, said in an interview.
«I can express my position; it coincides with the position of the leadership of the Russian Federation. Negotiations are always possible, but negotiations must be negotiations, not ultimatums. The leadership of our country always says that we are open to negotiations, but on conditions that We will be the one to decide, and not someone from overseas will speak to us through the mouth of Mr. (Vladimir) Zelensky,” said Saldo.
«We'll wait and see what will be offered. But at this moment, negotiations with criminals are just for the sake of conducting them, in order to give them a break and create additional problems for our Armed Forces, I think there is no need,» he added .
